When I lived in Germany I never even noticed them. I suppose that I mistook them for Vanagons. This LT body is also made in Brazil by VW do Brazil. Paccar (the GM company that makes Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks) imported the single cab body and installed it on their own American-made chassis and sold it under the Peterbilt and Kenworth badges. If you see one you'll notice that all the glass has VW marked in the corners by the manufacturer.
